Elderberry is rich in antioxidants and vitamins A, B and C. Elderberry has a long history in traditional medicine as an immune booster.
The other ingredients: ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and anise give the mix a nice spice to the syrup and makes a great addition to beverages like lemonade, tea, or a more "adult" drink. I drink a teaspoon - two or three times a day:) I am not a doctor, so I do not give out medical advice
